Black and White Chic Stationery

We were very happy at Magenta Ink! to be involved in the wedding of Deborah McNab and Colin Kirk which took place early Autumn on the 12th September 2009 at Airth Castle Hotel & Spa Resort in Central Scotland near Stirling and Edinburgh. The Historic Airth Castle majestically overlooks the River Forth and has been around since the 14th Century, therefore compeletly steeped in romance and history. What a beautiful setting for such a lovely wedding.

Deborah and Colin were a pleasure to work with from the start, Deborah being an architect had very firm ideas on the look and construction! of her wedding stationery. The crisp black and white stationery was inspired by her love of "Jo Malone Candles" and the table names were even named after her favourite "Jo Malone Fragrances" such as Wild Fig and White Jasmine. What a nice idea!

Thank you Deborah and Colin for being so kind as to let us have a sneak view of how the tables and detailing looked on the big day itself. A contemporary and chic wedding set in one of Scotland's finest castles. Every Brides's dream...

Beautiful Italian Wedding

Newly weds Angela and Sandy Kerr were very kind to share some recent wedding photographs with Magenta Ink! of their Summer Italian Wedding at the very beautiful location of Villa Catignano in Tuscany close to Siena, in the Chianti countryside. They kindly are allowing pictures from their location to be shown on our own Magenta Ink blogspot!

The Vera Wang Imperial Scroll Wrap Invitations which the Bride and Groom had selected earlier in the year were a perfect fit for their special day. Magenta Ink! were also very pleased to be able to supply a lovely Table Plan, Place Settings, Menus and Gift Tags which made a perfect fit with the black and white theme of the day.

The Designer Wedding Show

The place any self respecting bride should visit is the Designer Wedding Show in London's serenely beautiful Battersea Park. Great Venue, Great Show. I particularly enjoyed the wonderful fashion show which started directly after the champagne breakfast. I am totally in love with The Bruce Oldfield Bridal Collection, OMG that man is so talented.

Piper Jonathan Lowes featured in Easy Living Magazine

Easy Living Magazine has always been a favourite read of mine and I realised they really did have great taste when I picked up the November 2009 copy to find our friends (Trish and David Lowes) son Jonathan pictured in the fashion shoot on location at Edinburgh Castle with his pipes in hand and a very glamorous model draped over him.

I'm sure the boys at Stew Mel will be in awe of that! Piping hot Jonathan boy...

Entertaining with a Twist a Big Success

Entertaining with a Twist Evening held at The Living Room, Edinburgh was a big success on Wednesday evening raising over £700 for Lynnes challenge for TCT.
The cocktail masterclass sessions were a big hit with the ladies in attendance and the bartender was in his element!!! Many thanks to all that took part on the night, well done team and the lovely lady guests who supported the event
